Hi I have a question regarding the non-immigrant ED visa. My first and only visa expired on the 23 of April and during that time the visa office has said that they will be closed until the 31st of July. I have recently been offered an internship from another organisation in Bangkok, can anyone help me figure out what my next steps should be ? Any help would be much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on next steps after their non-immigrant ED visa expired while the visa office is closed due to COVID-19, and they've received an internship offer.

You're done and can't do anything until the country opens back up, until the neighboring countries open back up and until the thai consulates in those countries open back up.

You don't have any visa now, you're here on amnesty and you can't get an in country visa issued from amnesty

so does that mean I don’t have to do anything just yet? Will they charge me for over staying?

you are on amnesty extension until July 31.
