I just did my 90 day reporting in Chiang Mai as a DTV and it took less than 5 minutes. I was prepared to spend the whole day there. So happy the process was smooth

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day reporting process in Chiang Mai for DTV visa holders has been highlighted as quick and efficient, often taking less than five minutes. Community members shared their experiences, emphasizing the importance of preparation, such as obtaining the TM47 form from nearby agencies to avoid long queues. Some mentioned the availability of drive-in services at immigration offices that significantly reduce wait times. While some expats find it easy, others expressed uncertainty about the regulations and processes, suggesting that first-timers might be more anxious due to their lack of familiarity.

90 day report is nothing it's a 5 minute stop. It's only people who have been on short term visa or visa exempt that are freaking out cause they don't know or never done it. The only interaction with immagration is at border bounce

in Chiang Mai is a Drive in Counter. Even when there is a queue then it takes maybe 10 minutes. Years ago it took a half day but since they have this Drive in it's done in no time

it depends on luck with the queue, 90d report cannot be done online with dtv if you re-entry every 180days

Yes, the 90-day report is a piece of cake. Some cities even have drive-in services that make the process quicker and more convenient. I've been doing it in person for over 10 years; it's all about planning. Don't listen to those who complain out of laziness or a lack of respect for the rules of the country that welcomes them. 🙄
