Soooo ...if u're scheduled to go get ur non-o extension (Thai spouse) tmrw and ur passport is stamped until Sept 29th. They'll waive ur overstay penalty? Does anyone know?

How does this affect those who need to file their 90 day report in person by those days? Online portal has been rejecting me, advising to go in person since the 24th but… Obviously not very possible.

I was told that I had to comply with the law. Immigration closures bank holidays etc were not an excuse. Never leave it to the last minute. I was fined on a late 90 day because Immigration was shut and I could not register.

I had an appointment for tomorrow for non-B extension ( all done online). Tried to reschedule online but cannot. My current visa ends on Wednesday . ( I know, why wait until last minute - employer took their own sweet time with documents). Anyone know what procedure may follow?

Paul Rogers you can file up to 7 days after due date and 2 weeks before.

Also by mail or online. How late were you?

Wannikea Wanblee that was my plan. Their booking system is blanked out. I am guessing they will not give grief as they closed

Hi Todd. In and out in under 45 minutes at the e-extension part. Maybe 15-20 people in there. Was only 8 in front of me. Downstairs- chaos. Big queues out the door.

so you have an under consideration stamp and will go get the yearly extension inked in?

There is NO overstay associated with that (in fact MANY of the smaller offices routinely run past that under consideration stamp expiration date before they get the approval from bangkok head office)

You're fine, just go Wednesday the 30th

OP
Aim Buranakarn typically if an office is closed on the date your permission to stay stamp expires, you would go to the office the very next day they are open and any penalties would be waived.

you have a three WEEK window (counting holidays and weekends) to apply in person from 2 weeks before the due date until 1 week after.

I would imagine you'll pull a 2000baht failure to file fine if you're more than 7 days late
