Looking for some advice. I am married to a Thai national and am planning to apply for a Thai spouse visa (non-imm O) out of the RTE in Singapore. One of the required documents is “A letter from the applicants Thai spouse”.

Can anyone share what that letter needs to contain or state? An example would be great as well.

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai Non-Immigrant O spouse visa from Singapore, the required letter from your Thai spouse should be straightforward. It can be a simple handwritten note stating your spouse's name, address, and a request for permission for you to return to Thailand to be with them. An example in Thai could include: 'To whom it may concern; My name is [...], I live at [...]. I am a Thai citizen living at [address]. I am asking permission to let my husband, [name], return to Thailand to be with me. Thank you.'

I'm shutting this down. As a reminder, we keep everything in the group. I don't think there's much that needs to be added, if anyone disagrees, please send a mod a message. Thank you.

Honestly, I wouldn't put too much effort into this. Just a handwritten (scanned) letter would do. The letter should say something like this (in Thai):

To whom it may concern;

My name is [...], and I live at [...]. I am a Thai citizen living at [address here]. I am asking permission to let my husband, [name here], return to Thailand to be with me. Thank you.
