Hi guys, I have another question:

Again, I want to extend my Visa to stay for a year. Need some advise about it. One of my options is, volunteer visa or getting sponsored by someone or company (not sure how does it work). Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on extending their visa in Thailand for another year, considering options like a volunteer visa or sponsorship from a company. Comments suggest that seeking a licensed volunteer foundation is a viable route, which would aid in the necessary paperwork for a work permit. There's a caution about the difficulty of obtaining volunteer and educational visas due to ongoing investigations, and it's noted that to extend a volunteer visa, regular work with the foundation is required. Sponsorship from a legal company is also highlighted, which necessitates full-time employment.

For a volunteer visa extension you first must find a foundation that is licensed to handle volunteers, then you must work for them regularly every week, extending the visa with the paperwork they give you every 90 days. If you miss an extension then the visa is cancelled immediately.

If you are sponsored by a legal company that means you work full time with them. If you don't work full time then no visa extension.

Sounds like you need to go online to the Thai Embassy in your country. Volunteer visa and Ed visa may be hard to get with the investigations going on.

Your volunteer foundation is the best approach. They have to complete the paperwork and assist with your work permit. Perhaps best to discuss with them

You don't go through an agency, you go through the volunteer foundation.

@Maria *****
you need to be volunteering to get a volunteer visa. Talk with the foundation that you want to volunteer for.
