Hi group, my daughter goes to school and has an ED visa. I have a "guardian" visa. My husband is here on a multiple entry tourist visa.

👉 What's the best option for him to stay long term in Thailand? what other type of visa is available to him? Thanks in advance for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on long-term visa options for her husband, who is currently on a multiple entry tourist visa in Thailand. Comments suggest various alternatives including obtaining a job for a non-B visa, applying for a retirement visa if over 50, considering an LTR visa, or exploring an elite visa for those with sufficient funds. Other suggestions include extending the ED visa tied to their child’s schooling or applying for a student visa focused on activities like Muay Thai. The conversation highlights that options may vary based on the husband’s age and their location in Chiang Mai.

Put him on a muay thai visa student visa so he gets to stay in shape and leave you alone for a couple of hours.

Not so many options if under 50. Guardian visa only allows one parent per child. Could possibly stretch an Ed visa for two years until over 50, or if money is no object then an elite visa. There may be an option under the LTR groups

Al Kukrapokif by different ways you mean getting an agent to get you a sketchy under the radar visa, then yes, there are ways But it’s far from legit when it comes down to it

Yes, but it doesn't mean it's legit when it comes down to it, having some agency get you a B visa without having the required capital or actually having a job is a shady method, that's my only point

in 2 years he can apply for a retirement visa. Right now, maybe ED visa, can also get a Business visa but it's more expensive (less hassle though).

I would contact many agencies and ask them their options, sorry I can't help more.

for a business visa don't you need a job or money invested in an enterprise to secure one?

Get a job and non-B visa.

Have another child and enroll them in school.

See if he qualifies for LTR visa.

Purchase an elite visa.

a. We have a business in the us, so we cannot “have a job” here. No time.

b. I’m not that desperate😉

c+b worth exploring. Didn’t know about them. 🙏
