What are the experiences of getting visa approvals in Vietnam for Thailand?
There have been lots of people sharing their rejections which is scaring people, so I thought I would share 2 approvals.
We initially applied from London in Feb, we both met all of the soft-power requirements and provided a lot of additional info but the business couldn't provide the additional paperwork requested so we cancelled (to avoid a rejection on our files), did some more travelling, then flew to Hanoi and applied from there in early May. We were asked for additional proof that we were in Vietnam and provided it. About a week later we got our approval.

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.
That's what you should do... print it out.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
