TLDR : Answer Summary
You can complete your 90-day report online, but only if you haven't left Thailand since your last report. The initial report after re-entry must be done in person. Subsequent reports may be submitted online, typically if you've extended your stay while still in Thailand.

You can do it online only if you haven’t left Thailand yet. The first 90-day report after re-entry must always be done in person. Online reporting is usually possible only if you’ve extended your DTV while staying in Thailand.

Have you left the country since the first one?

Anonymous participant You'll probably find the online system will not accept your notification, so you can do in person or if in Bangkok, by mail

Anonymous participant Then you need to do it in person again. If you go out, it will reset.

Yes it's just the first you need to go in person 😁

It is the first 90 day report of every 180 day stamp you get on DTV.

So when you stay the whole 180 days of the stamp and then leave you have to do your first report at day 90 or a few days after, then there will be no second 90 day report because you leave the country at day 180 or before.

When you re-enter it starts all over again wit first 90 day report in person.

Only when you do not leave the country after 180 days and get an in country extension, there will be a second and a third 90 day report, you can do online

It depends. If you leave Thailand, the first time after coming back is always in person. If you don't, you can do it online.

If we're talking about the same thing, then yes! Just to clarify: with a DTV, you need to do the 90-day report in person more than once over 5 years (even if you extend your stay in Thailand). But if you do border runs, then you have to report in person every time you re-enter.
