Hi, I am a little confused regarding my next 90 day report this time as I recently received my new extension of stay based on Non B visa. Does the 90 days start from 7th April 2025 when I returned to Thailand after leaving the country or from the date of my new extension of stay 14th May 2025. I don’t want to miss it so thought I should double check. And should it be done in person this time as I previously did it online with no issues but I hadn’t left the country beforehand, so am I right in thinking as I left in April my next one has to be in person please? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day reporting period begins from the date of your re-entry to Thailand, which in your case is April 7, 2025. Therefore, your next report would be due 89 days from that date, on July 5, 2025. While it may be possible to file your report online, it is advisable to do it in person this time, especially since you have recently left the country, to avoid potential rejections that some people face on their first report after re-entry.

Exactly go to your nearest Immigration & do in person, this way you won’t get rejected.

As a rule getting a new yearly extension DOES NOT reset the 9 day reporting (unless they give you a new 90 day report receipt when you did the extension)

SO

from looking at your passport it would appear, you entered the country on the 7th of April <- meaning your next 90 day report would be due 89 days from that date OR on July 5th.

You can try online a couple weeks before that date, (worst case they'll reject it)

BUT

a lot of people (especially in bangkok) get rejected on the first report after comin' back into the country and they get this reason in the rejection.
