So I’m thinking of going to Vientiane in Laos to apply for the workcation visa in a few months time. Has anyone had any experience applying there?

I would wager that any experience people will share would be from when it was a walk up consulate and you applied in person

Since Jan 1 both Vientiane and Savannakhet turned into eVisa online application consulates, where you go to Lao, apply online thru the eVisa website, then go to the consulate to PAY for the visa, then wait in Lao until the visa is approved

So don't read too much into anyone's previous experience at those consulates because it's a whole different ballgame now
