TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai Consulate in Vientiane recently implemented an e-visa system that started on January 1. According to their website, the processing time can take up to 10 days. Applicants are required to visit the embassy to make payment in cash, as credit card payments are not accepted for the e-visa system.

difficult to say . . . In Vientiane they started the online e-visa system on January 1st, 30 days ago. The processing time as mentioned on their website is up to 10 days. And you will need to visit the embassy to pay cash, because the payment option by credit card is not available on their e-visa system
