If anyone is planning to apply for a visa extension by January 25 in Pattaya Immigration office, be aware that it may not be done the day you apply. I went on January 17 to pick up the application form. I filled it out, went to the information counter and the clerk wrote January 20 on it and told me to come back then.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Applying for a visa extension at the Pattaya Immigration office may require an additional follow-up visit after submitting the application. A recent experience highlighted that after picking up and filling out the application form, an applicant was instructed to return on a specific date, in this case, January 20, to complete the process, which is considered standard protocol especially for extensions related to COVID.
