TLDR : Answer Summary
A user with a one-year multi-entry Non-O visa, nearing their 90-day limit, inquired about the nearest land border to Bangkok for a quick exit and re-entry into Thailand. Responses included suggestions to consider Cambodia as the nearest option, with specific routes pointed out—preferably avoiding Poi Pet—and the recommendation of crossing at Ban Laem or using the Nong Khai/Vientiane route. Some users mentioned the possibility of cheap flights, while others advocated for driving as a more economical and hassle-free option.

Better to go by land. It's just a 3-4 hour drive from Bangkok to the Cambodian border (there are several options), much cheaper than flying and less hassle too. Flying sucks these days.

Cambodia is close however I recommend Laos, Nong Khai/ Vientiane crossing

You can drive, or train bkk to Nong Khai, cross by bus at the bridge, return same day

The night train with sleeper is great, leave bkk at night arrive Nong Khai in the morning, you can cross over and back in about 1 hour sometimes quicker, then night train back to bkk

As you have a multi entry you need to leave Thailand. Look at a cheap air ticket to Malaysia.( Air Asia or Lion Air) down and back in 1 day unless you want to spend a couple of days down there.

Why dont you just go to immigration in Bangkok?

@Martin ****
multi entry visa you have to leave the country every 90 days

@Michael *******
. Whom told you that?

Michael Dawson no you don't, I got multiple entry Visa, not left Thailand for 18 months ???

some do some dont, he probably has the marriage non O from Loas and with that one you have to leave the country every 90 days. Which he said he does.

You probably have OA visa or similair which you dont have to leave. Many different visas many different rules

What are you on about.

Yes you can do 90 day reports in person, online or registered mail. He is not on about 90 day reports

AVOID Poi Pet if possible

head to Chantaburi., than north to Pon Nam ron and cross at Ban Laem

sometimes Cambodian immigration will charge you 300 baht for in and out

Or as above, look at a cheap flight, (Often Air asia DMK-PP is less than $100 r/t)

Yes, all open.

Cambodia is nearest, just follow sukhumvit road till the end.

In your situation if you planning to do this every 90 days i would just look into cheap flights especially booking that far in advance. Malaysia and Singapore is easy entry
