TLDR : Answer Summary
As of the latest updates, there has been no official announcement regarding the entry visa for Thailand. Forum discussions indicate a mix of confusion and speculation about various visa types, including tourist and NON-O visas. Some users mention hearing about entry conditions, while others report sightings of entry stamps for short stays, suggesting at least some travelers are being processed. Many participants are waiting for further news, possibly on the 3rd of October, regarding changes or confirmation of the new long-stay visa and other related requirements.

What Visa news? Seems all will stay as is except for the new Long Stay. O/A insurance coverage might go down i hear but nothing confirmed as of yet. Maybe by the 3rd... but who knows. Entry tourist tax is set though....555

Someone said they came in today and got it but no proof.
lots of people confuse “visa exempt” with actually having a visa they get on arrival. Having the actual term “visa on arrival” doesn’t help the confusion.
