Once my work visa expires next month I plan to go to vietnam and get a "Non-immigrant o – accompanying thai spouse and family members " visa. This is a visa I used to get back before I landed my job with a non-b visa a few years ago and back in 2018 I could just rock up with no financial paperwork, but it seems that they have added a financial requirement for this visa :
2.5. Applicant’s financial statement of adequate finance is required.
Could someone explain what this financial statement is ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the financial statement required for obtaining a Non-Immigrant O visa for accompanying a Thai spouse, which has recently included new financial documentation requirements. Community responses indicated varying financial documentation requirements in different countries, with some places not requiring financial proof at all.
the company I worked for didn't want to complicate things and wanted to do all visas the same. And the marriage visa was only a multiple entry visa anyway, it wasn't one of those ones valid for a year.
Savannakhet, Laos doesnt require any finances for that visa, based on marriage to a Thai national and it's available in single or multi entry. HCMC used to be the same, first I've heard of any changes there.
It's not on the website but they definitely do a 12m multi-entry, I got mine late January. You write 12 month multi-entry at the top of their form as there is no tick box.
I heard Savannakhet did only single entry spousal visas. AFAIK there are only two places in Asia that give multi entry spousal without financial requirements, HCMC and Seoul.
