Just curious, I’m applying for non O visa based on marriage in Vientiane. I know the income requirement is 40k bht, I meet this and is being auto deposited in a bank in the U.S every month. Would a print out of bank statement from my bank back home showing this be enough?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for financial proof when applying for a Non-O visa based on marriage in Vientiane varies. Generally, the Single Entry Non-O visa does not require financial proof, while the 1-year Multiple Entry Non-O visa requires a minimum bank balance of 400,000 Baht or a monthly income verification of 40,000 Baht deposited into a Thai bank account. Although some sources state that a bank statement from a US bank can demonstrate income, it is primarily necessary to show these funds in a Thai account to meet immigration requirements, especially for extensions.
