Hello everyone I made a few posts earlier about my attempt to create a new work permit and extension based off of employment in Bangkok (in the process of switching jobs) long story short that didn’t work out because of my previous jobs refusal to cooperate.

So my visa is cut off today. And I need to do a visa run for a new tourist visa in a nearby country and I want to do this like tomorrow. My question is what is the fastest option for doing this? I was thinking either Laos or Cambodia. Does anyone know approximately how long it takes these two consulates to issue the visa? I’m asking because I tried to google it and I found many different answers. I know that it depends but what is the typical timing? Also both these countries offer visas on arrival correct so I can just enter without any issues? What documents are required? Any general advice is helpful. I hate to ask, I tried researching past posts about this but many of them were posting during the COVID restriction time making it difficult to find current info. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking to do a visa run for a new tourist visa in Laos or Cambodia due to their current visa cut-off. They want to know the fastest option, typical visa issuance timing, and required documents, given the discrepancies in information available online. Comments suggest that Laos offers a next-day visa issuance while Cambodia takes two days, with both countries providing options for visa on arrival.

Laos is next day, PP is two days. Visa on arrival can be bought by most nationalities but not all. You'll need a passport photo for both Laos and Cambodian visa.

Laos. File and get it the following day.
