TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai DTV visa (Digital Nomad Visa) from neighboring countries, the consensus among community members suggests that Laos (specifically Vientiane) offers a very efficient process with a turnaround time of about 5 working days, including an in-person interview. Vietnam, particularly Hanoi, is also recommended due to quick processing times. Conversely, Cambodia is perceived as problematic, and it’s generally advised to apply from one's home country for better success. Experiences from Myanmar's embassy indicate a quick process but with more stringent document requirements.

I don't know yr particular circunstances but if I was you I'd do a month in indonesia and enjoy yr trip, it'll be done well in time and they were pretty easy to deal with in my experience. No need to sit around waiting and fretting when it'll be made available, sabai sabai.

Cambodia is least problematic. Direct rejection 😂 Fun aside: Better to apply from your home country. They understand you better.
