TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK resident married to a Thai national seeking to stay in Thailand for 3-4 months may consider several visa options. The easiest method is to apply for a single entry tourist visa through the Thai consulate, granting an initial stay of 60 days, which can be extended by 30 days and then potentially by an additional 60 days for visiting family. Alternatively, obtaining a single entry 90-day Non-O visa based on marriage allows for an extension within Thailand, enabling a stay for up to a year with a re-entry permit. If one holds a valid Non-O visa and re-entry permit, they may also enter Thailand using the Thailand Pass. However, the validity of these permits should be checked, especially considering any lapses due to COVID-19.

if you have a re-entry permit and a non o which is still unexpired can't you just come in using Thailand Pass?

If you have both a valid extension along with a valid re-entry permit, yes, you can enter Thailand on them.

Or single entry Non-O 90days + 60days visiting Thai family extension if 5 months are enough..

Another option;

Get a single entry 90 day Non-O visa based on marriage to a thai from the thai consulate in the UK (using the online evisa portal) come in, get stamped in for 90 days, apply for the year extension while you're here and then just get a re-entry permit and you're set to come in and out all you want for a year.

Get a single entry tourist visa from the thai consulate in the UK (using the online evisa portal) come in get stamped in for 60 days, take your regular 30 day extension for 1900baht at the immigration office and if you need more time take the one 60 day visit thai family extension you can get per entry for 1900baht as well that buys you almost 5 months in country entering with just a tourist visa
