Hey all, arrived here in Thailand a week ago and I'm on the STV Visa. It's been stamped at the Airport for 90 days ending around the 5th of September. I realise they were stopping the STV in September. Any advice if I want to extend another 90 days taking me up to December? Should I wait until the start of September before going to immigration in Pattaya? Or before?

The STV has not been officially axed yet.

So the answer for now is yes to go about it as normal Extensions, it hasn't ended.

Like the Covid extensions no one knows how long it will continue.

The only thing you can do is try. You might be able to get 1 more extension, but if they don't renew the program you'll only get max 180 days out of it.

Hi Dan

Im on STV too...I would just request extension before Sep. My last extension I did 2 and a bit weeks before expiry and was still stamped 90 days from original expiry. I'm in Phuket
