What is the current status of the ETA pre-approval for EU/Sweden citizens traveling to Thailand?
THIM and TDAC notice

Hi! I am new to the group.
What is the deal on the ETA pre-approval for EU/Sweden citizens going to Thailand on a 58-day trip?
I find diverging information online, varying from "It must be used" with non-working links to application forms, to "it is/was postponed to May".
Well, now it is November. What is the actual status on the intended(?) requirement to seek ETA pre-approval?
I am aware of the new digital arrival card (DTAC) to be filled in earliest(?) three days before arrival.

Answer summary
The ETA pre-approval for EU/Sweden citizens was never implemented. Instead, travelers need to fill out a TDAC, which is an arrival card that does not require prior approval and can be completed online up to three days before arrival in Thailand.

There is no ETA, it was never implemented.
You'll need to fill out a TDAC which is just an arrival card. You can only do this within 3 days of your arrival. It does not require any approval.
