Regarding TM.6, Immigration at Chong Mek has started implementing this. Foreigners entering Thailand through this border has to fill up the form.
Answer summary
Recent changes at the Chong Mek border require foreigners to fill out the TM.6 form upon entry into Thailand. This requirement is not new as land border crossings have always necessitated the TM.6. Additionally, starting May 1, 2025, all individuals entering Thailand must complete the online Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 72 hours of entry, as the paper TM.6 will be phased out.

only 8 land borders and 8 sea ports (yachts and cruise ships) suspended the use of the Paper TM.6 Arrival Card since 15 April 2024, but starting 01 May 2025, ALL of Thailand's borders will start using the TDAC Digital Arrival website

That's not new... The land border crossing entries have been required to complete the TM6 on entry. It's NOT 🚫 the same as the New digital arrival card to be completed online within 72 hours of your arrival, required FROM May 1st

I remembered when I returned to thailand via the checkpoint near chiang rai, I did not fill up TM.6 though. Did I miss anything?Edit: Sorry, I only returned to thailand via chiang rai.

They didn't just start doing it, they were one of the borders that never STOPPED doing it 😛
