What is the current status of DTV applications for Workcation made on January 12?

Good afternoon all. I applied for my DTV on Monday, January 12th for Workcation from HCMC. Just curious to know how many others applied on the same day and what their status is. I received an email yesterday requesting additional information that I sent in this morning. So far no update.

Applied on the 11th. On the 15th they asked for more info. I submitted it last night. My situation spans multiple companies in multiple countries. In some I am a beneficial owner. In others a shareholder. In one a managing director. Expecting a government clerk to understand this without an accountant is unrealistic.

This was supposed to be proof of funds and remote work capability. Not a full tax audit. For 390 USD, this process is a joke.

Do I understand correct that today you send in requested information and you now already expect a reaction?

From the moment they received the additional info their processing period starts over again, so you might expect to wait a few weeks.

What is the point?

Others may have applied on the same day, BUT could have made a mistake OR uploaded all documents in good order.

Every application is different and checked on case by case basis, your application was not good enough, so new documents are asked.

Do you think it helps to go to the Embassy and demand a visa because anonymous 599 and his friend got the visa within 2 days?

When you took the time to respond, did you honestly conclude that I expect my visa to line up perfectly with everyone else’s? Or did you consider, even briefly, that I was gauging the speed of the process?

We obviously don’t have full visibility into every application, and yes, they differ case by case. The logical next step is comparing experiences, especially from the same city.

Showing up with nothing to add, ignoring the intent of the question, and still managing to sound arrogant is honestly impressive.

But I see you’re a “top contributor,” so that checks out. The need to be seen is strong with this one.

Anonymous participant Even when you make a database with all experiences of all applicants, you will not have full visibility into every application.

The staff inside the Embassy decide case by case, it does nto matter how much time and effort you will put into sharing experiences.

You apply correct, it goes quicker than if documents are missins, that is simple math.

Enjoy your time .

It’s like Stephen said - he thinks that since he’s gay that he can be rude to people. Nobody cares that you’re gay, I have lots of gay friends but that’s not an excuse to be disrespectful. Do better Robert your mother would be disappointed

they’re not wrong, I don’t see why you’re such a dink. Honest question- Whats the point of posting on this group if you’re going to be like that? Do you get off on this? I’ve seen quite a few of your posts. Just a disrespectful knob. Do you talk like that to people in person?

You do not have to read what I type.

Have a great day. I only asked a question and gave the reason why I asked.

If you do not have the answers, why comment?

Okay but why? Do you not realize how you come off? There are plenty of Facebook groups where you can be a disrespectful jerk - this group is for helping people with their DTV.

It’s this radical left mentality. I have no issues with the lgbt community, everyone has the right to live the way they want but they’ve gone too far. Just because you’re gay Robert doesn’t give you a right to talk to people like that. Once again I have nothing against gay people but cmon Robert do better. Anonymous is correct - Hurt people hurt people.

Couldn't agree more, just because hes gay he thinks that he can say whatever he wants with impunity. Then will probably call us homophobic. Hurt people hurt people
