Hello,

I'm going through the process to get a DTV soft power medical visa.

It asks me this:

"Invoice of deposit paid for the care booked"

I have made appointments with Bangkok Hospital and I had sent them the emails of the appointments but apparently they want more. 

Problem is that how can i pay in advance, i have to pay when i will be there, i don't even think that Bangkok Hospital have a possibility for paying in advance.

how did Bangkok hospital diagnose and quote for treatment? Did you attend an examination? Perhaps speak with the hospital and get an agreed treatment plan in place, with costs, and deposit. That will prove you are genuinely a patient who's going to receive treatment. My son had to pay a deposit to the hospital before he was treated so I'm sure Bangkok hospital can do the same.

there's no chance that even a treatment plan will work if it only consists of 2 hospital visits. You're going to need multiple visits over a period of more than 6 months

doctors here will not issue you a treatment plan until they have physically examined you. Then you submit their treatment plan, and your payment for that examination that resulted in your treatment plan being issued. That is how it works under the medical category.

the point is, you could decide not to attend an appointment or an appointment might not result in treatment. So if you are applying for a DTV based on medical treatment then it's best to show proof you are going to receive treatment.

I'm sure they do. But normally they want to see an agreed treatment plan, signed off by a recognised doctor at the hospital with an official stamp from the hospital. Just having an appointment that you may or may not turn up for isn't going to cut it
