TLDR : Answer Summary
The term 'dependency visa' does not officially exist in Thailand. What is often referred to as a dependency visa is actually the Non-Immigrant O visa, which is available under various conditions such as being married to a Thai national, having children with Thai nationality, or being a parent of foreign children attending school in Thailand. For specific details about application procedures and costs, it is recommended to check the website of the Thai Embassy in your home country.

it does not exist.

What they write or talk about is the Non Immigrant O visa based on:

- being married with a Thai National

- having children with the Thai Nationality

- married with a foreigner, who has long stay in Thailand

- married with a foreigner working in Thailand

- being a parent of foreign children going to school in Thailand,

Just to name some examples. More information on the website of the Thai Embassy in your home country.
