TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses challenges encountered while applying for a Non-O visa through the Thai consulate in Los Angeles, mentioning a delay in receiving a response after accepting a TR60 visa alternative. Comments indicate a general perception of slow processing times at the consulate, alongside a contrasting experience of a quick e-visa approval.

LA Thai consulate is very slow for sure and they never reply any type of inquiries including phone or email. I assume they are overwhelmed with visa applications.

yes, don't waste your time, they won't respond. Not sure if this is the way thai consulates work. My flight is about 9 days from now, I have no visa and no thai pass yet, just waiting.
