Has Anyone applied for a Non-O family/spouse Visa from US (LA) consulate somewhat recently?
I applied for the 1 year -multiple entry visa. [members only]
It doesn't specify about the country of bank statement required for upload, I uploaded my US bank statement with ample funds.
I didn't see a requirement for having 400k in a thai bank.
I plan to open a Thai account and keep 400K thb min for the extension of stay based on marriage.
I am a little bit worried that it says minimum processing time is 15 business days, and that would be about a week before my flight, so I wouldn't have time to reapply if it takes 1 week longer than the minimum time.
Anyone remember how long theirs took at LA-US consulate?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the application process for a Non-O family/spouse visa from the Thai consulate in Los Angeles, mentioning that they uploaded a US bank statement and were concerned about meeting the processing time before their flight. Comments from other users reassured the applicant that US bank statements were acceptable, there is no requirement to show 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account at the application stage, and provided tips for what to do if the visa isn't approved on time.
