TLDR : Answer Summary
Individuals looking to renew their annual visa in Petchaburi should be aware that proof of income is a critical requirement. Specifically, if you're using monthly income from abroad to meet financial criteria, you must provide 12 months of incoming overseas transfers deposited into a Thai bank account in your name. However, due to recent changes in consulate issuance of notary letters, immigration officers may show leniency if you cannot provide the full 12 months' worth of transfers. It's also essential to clarify which type of visa extension you are applying for, such as retirement or family reasons.

IF you're from a consulate that stopped issuing the affidavit of income from abroad notary letters, and wanting to use monthly income as the means to meet the financial requirements you need to show 12 months of incoming overseas transfers into a thai bank account in your name only for the minimum amount for that particular extension.
Seeing as this is the first year they went to this AND you didn't know last year you couldn't get your notary letter anymore the immigration officers are requested to show leniency if you don't have the full 12 months of incoming overseas transfers.
, If you are using the monthly income method you need a special letter from the bank showing only the monthly international transfers (it is different from the bank letter when using banked money) AND you need copies of your bank book too.
