TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the fate of a single re-entry permit (1,000 THB) that cannot be used due to Covid-19, which is valid until March 1, 2021. The responses indicate that if the permit expires without being used, it will be forfeited, and some commentators note that multiple entry visas are currently deemed ineffective.

Any multiple entry visa is essentially useless as of now. The government have also not made any solutions for those that use multiple entry visas.

Not *quite* true, in my opinion.

The multiple entry visas, especially the multiple entry Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai wife, still has value to those people who frequently leave and return to Thailand for work. However, a person would still have to quarantine for 15 days in a hotel at their expense.

Remember, *MOST* multiple entry visas only allow a person to stay in Thailand in 90 day increments. An extension of stay must be purchased to stay longer.
