Apologies if this has already been asked: if I were to go for an extension at the local immigration office and was rejected - will I still be given the extra 7 days to leave from the 26th? Many thanks ๐๐ผ

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you apply for a visa extension at the local immigration office in Thailand and your application is rejected, you will not receive the additional 7 days to leave the country that is typically granted when an application is denied. As per current practices, applications that do not meet the necessary requirements are often simply turned away.

AFAIK; there has been NO cases of people applying for the 30 day extension, getting an under consideration stamp and then going back to be told they were denied.
IF they accept your application and give you the under consideration stamp you'll get the extension until the 26th of Oct.
