I have some contradiction. Please help. My baht in bank will be seasoned January 5th with 10 days left on my Non O. Some say you can apply early for retirement stamp. How is that possible when money has to be in bank for 60 days?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about the timeline for applying for a retirement visa in Thailand given that their bank funds will only be seasoned on January 5th, while their current NON-O visa has 10 days left. The conversation reveals that while some immigration offices may allow applications to be made 30 to 45 days in advance, the funds must still meet the 60-day seasoning requirement before applying. Some comments indicate that early applications can be made if one has funds already seasoned before coming to Thailand or if the immigration office permits early submissions.

The earliest you can do it is when your funds have been in the bank for the required time. The latest you can do it is the day your visa expires, although not recommended to leave it that late
Some people already have a bank account before they arrive with the non-O from being in Thailand previously. And next year you'll be able to apply early. How early is up to the immigration office you use. 30 days early at most offices, 45 days early at some.
