TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are late on your 90-day report for a Thai wife visa by 2-3 days, you may face a fine of 2,000 Thai baht. However, you are allowed to report 15 days before and up to 7 days after the due date, so you might still be within a permissible range for a late report. It's important to clarify whether you are on a yearly extension or a visa that requires you to leave the country every 90 days, as the rules may differ slightly depending on your visa status.

How about we first find out if the O/P is actually on a yearly extension OR on a visa from a thai consulate ... :/

Are you on a VISA that you got from the thai consulate (where you leave the country every 90 days) OR are you on an extension of stay from the immigration office (where you do a 90 day report)?

And with that, I believe

Fine is 2,000 Thai baht if you miss reporting it. Can be reported 15 days before and up to 7 days after. When was the 90 days report due?

Stuart Holden not a problem. Thai Immigration will appreciate your 2,000 Thai baht

Has other been late and If so what happened? I hope I don't get into trouble :/

Stuart Holden get it reported ASAP. Weekend days and holidays when Immigration may be closed do count...

And in todays environment of changes and enforcement by Thai Immigration why ignore the 90 day report requirements? It is a Condition/Rule we accepted in return for permission to stay.

you are correct. But if you need any service from Immigration they collect the 2,000 Thai baht fine.

Not a good idea to let such a fine or late 90 day report be ignored.

@James *******
, the fine does not increase if you wait until your next extension... some wait the year out once liable for the fine.
