Hi everyone!
I would like to visit the Thai immigration here in Chiang Mai just to enquire about the retirement visa..
Could anyone let me know what documents I should take with me for this visit and inquiry with them?
I was told that I may not need the 22k, or 14k USD in a bank but that there are three boxes to choose from:
1) Having the 22k (or 14k USD) in my bank..
(Or......)
2) Receiving $1400 USD coming into your bank account per month...
(Or......)
3) Marriage visa..
I seem to only qualify for box number 2.
My friend said he thinks you only need to meet one of those requirements.. That you may only need to check the box that fits your situation..
But he wasn't 100% sure..
He is on a retirement visa and fits in box #1 (having the required amount in your bank account).
He was going to check for me but he is taking too long so I thought what better place to ask than in this group.. : )
Thank you so much in advance for any advice! ๐
