Good day, 

I hope you can answer this question I have as I've looked online but find the answers to be a little vague. 

My wife and I are thinking of retirement in Thailand. We are both from South Africa. I understand that there has to be 800 000 baht in a Thai bank account, however is that per person or would that be okay for a married couple to secure a retirement visa?

Hopefully the post's I have shared with you .... and others which will pop up to read using the search tool....helps you understand what needs to be done for you to obtain the Non O Retirement Visa and the one year extension of stay ... with SPOUSE as a TRAILING SPOUSE ..
