Hi everyone,

Just a quick check on renewing 1 yr retirement visa for the 1st time. So need TM ?, letter from bank and photos? Is that all I need? Or do I need new residency certificate even if I haven't moved. TIA ๐ŸŒผ

TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew a one-year retirement visa for the first time in Thailand, you typically need the TM form, a letter from your bank, and photographs. A residency certificate is generally not required unless your immigration office specifies otherwise. It's best to check directly with your local immigration office for the most accurate and updated information on requirements.

Residence certificate has never been a part of retirement visa or extension. Go to your immigration office and ask them for their handout for 1-year retirement extension. Each office has their own requirements and they change from time to time. The only way to know what you need for sure is to go there and ask for their handout.

These are common requirements but you need to find out directly from your immigration office.
