TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew a retirement visa in Phuket, the same documents required for first-time applicants are needed. This typically includes a bank account with an official letter from the bank, a copy of the bank book, a housing contract, and possibly a picture in front of the house. Note that the bank funds must be seasoned in the account: for the first year, they need to be there for 60 days, while for subsequent years, the period increases to 3 months.

Same requirements (every year). Remember though the first year the money in the bank only needs to be seasoned for 60 days but every year after that it has to be in the bank for 3 months.
I don't know about the picture (unless that's a Phuket thing).

, are you are confusing an extension of stay based on marriage which requires photos of the wedding, you two standing in front of your house numbers and a few of you two inside the house with an extension based on retirement which requires no photos?
