Dear experts, good morning. Before I head out the immigration office in RAYONG this week to apply for a 30 days extension on my 60 days exemption stay, I want to make sure I have it all together. I have the TM7 form filled out, rental contract, id and blue book copy for my house owner.. is there anything the immigration could ask in addition? Just want to make sure don’t need to go there again. Pretty far away from my stay.. TIA …

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on what documents are needed for a 30-day extension of their visa at the immigration office in Rayong. They mention having the filled TM7 form, a rental contract, and ID, and ask if anything else is required. Comments suggest including a copy of the passport with all stamps, a TM30 form, a Google map image of the house, photos, and emphasize the importance of checking specific office requirements. An update reveals the user successfully obtained the extension with minimal additional requirements.

Just a short question:

Did you get the 60 days Visa just by arrival?

It was 30 days only, did they change it already?

Thank you

On a very hot day in February, I made the mistake of wearing a sleeveless top.

Now it wasn't a Chang Beer vest, just a sleeveless shirt. Anyway, they insisted I go downstairs to buy a T-Shirt before dealing with me. I didn't have get a new ticket, but it was an avoidable stress.

Just in case anyone makes the same mistake.

Quick update : went today the IO. Had all docs handy. Only thing they asked me to fill out the TM 30 first to register my residence. Since I had a rental contract there was no need to ask the owner of my house. Went out after 50 minutes with my 30 days extension. Pretty cool. Thanks for all your input here. Rayong immigration office rules..;/)

Just in case:

- Copy if your passport with ALL stamps from Thailand

- A Goggle copy from your house with address and a photo of your house

You mean street address? I think most foreigners living in Thailand are in apartments. I live in a house, but it seems like I'm the exception to the rule.

Belongs to Condos as well. Make a copy from Google regarding the full adress and a copy of a kind of bird view, how to get there.

The address on Google Maps should be 100% identical to what is shown on the TM30 !!! I had trouble two times because of this, because my Landlord did not write down the exact address.

They could ask for a TM30 <- notification of foreigner in residence, receipt BUT not all offices ask for it and you have documentation from the owner that you're staying there

Rayong definitely asks for it. Last time its 500 up front.

Yep, always good to check and see what you need beforehand (y)

Hopefully someone who uses that immigration office will weigh in and let you know if you're missing anything

This is a general list of what can be required for a 30 day extension at most offices but it is not office specific
