DTV from Vienna - remote worker ... I don't see any report from this consulate, so I will post my experience, whole process took 15 days included weekends, one day was holiday ... Initially I had questions, but nobody reply to emails,

โžก I applied 2. 8. via evisa system and i uploaded:

- photo (from my phone)

- passport bio page photo

- national ID card photo, both sides

- printscreen of website with portfolio

- bank statement from current day

โžก 9. 8. I got first reply with Request for Further document:

1, A current freelance registration confirmation issued by the appropriate authority in Austria / Slovakia or Slovenia. The document must be valid within the date submitted visa application ... here i sent printscreen from business register, not official document

2, For remote worker applicants, Company Affidavit Document issued by the appropriate authority in Austria / Slovakia or Slovenia (translated into English). If not applicable, upload a copy of passport ... i wrote easy Affidavit with my name and signature, that i able work remotely, thats all.

3, For remote worker applicants, a copy work contract (translated into English). If not applicable, upload a copy of passport ... i sent passport photo

โžก 15. 8. second Request for Further document:

1, A copy of current freelance registration confirmation issued by the appropriate authority in Austria / Slovakia or Slovenia with the authority stamp in their own language. The document must be valid within the date submitted visa application. ... so propably printscreen from business register was not sufficient, i went to gov office and requested official data with stamp

โžก 16. 8. morning I sent this document about business registration to evisa system, afternoon got email with my new DTV :

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual shared their experience obtaining a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) through the Thai eVisa system while being based in Vienna. The entire process took 15 days and involved submitting several documents, including their photo, passport bio page, national ID, portfolio screenshot, and a current bank statement. They faced two requests for additional documents: a freelance registration confirmation and a Company Affidavit Document, both requiring specific formatting and official validation. Ultimately, the applicant compiled the necessary paperwork and successfully received their DTV.

Interesting.. my DTV says "Employment Prohibited" next to the "Remarks:" Applied at London and also used the "workaction" category.

I got as well Employment prohibited mark, and applied with home country work contract. that is fine, we can"t get work visa, employment, but can work as digital nomad for outside Thai company/customers.
