Just got approved for DTV and sharing my timeline here.

Canadian, applied in Canada. (Handled by Thai Consulate Ottawa, application fee: $650 CAD = ~15500 THB)

Dec 24 - submitted application, attached proof of balance, employment letter

Dec 27 - additional documents requested:

1. Letter from the company explicitily stating that my work can be done remotely

2. Company registration document showing that the company is legitimately up and running.

-> HR provided me these

Dec 30 -> submitted above two additional documents

Jan 3 -> approved

Considering it was a holiday season, im quite impressed how quickly this was done.

I got approved in similar timeline in Vancouver. I applied in December 29th, got requested additional documents on January 2nd and got approved on January 3rd. I was quite impressed as well.
