Hey, could someone advise which documents do I need to take to Immigration to apply for a 7 day extension of stay after cancelling work permit, please? Do I need the same documents as for a longer extension (ie TM30, TM7, photograph etc). Thanks so much in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 7-day extension of stay in Thailand after canceling a work permit, you should check if this extension is viable, as some users note that a 7-day extension may not exist. Typically, standard documents like TM30, TM7, and a photograph are required for longer extensions. It might also be worthwhile to consider applying for the COVID-19 extension before the deadline.

WHY not just apply for the 60 COVID extension? Last day to apply for it is July 25th

I entered on a non-B and I want to take a trip home anyway ๐Ÿ™‚

being on a Non B is no longer a reason for denial of a COVID extension...it was before...but not now.

IF your application for the COVID extension is denied...you will get the 7 day stamp to leave Thailand.

a 7 day extension of stay does not exist in Thailand.

If you apply for a new Extension of Stay and pay the 1.900 Thb but your application is not approved you will get a new stamp with 7 days to leave the country.

Example of the stamp:

Thanks, Robert. So, does this mean that I need to fill in a TM7 and apply for a 30 day extension (in order to get the 7 day stamp?)? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding anything. Thanks again

@Jules ******
Yes, you have to talk with the Immigration Officer and make an official application.
