Hi, we’re heading to Krabi immigration to get our 30 days extension on our TV, just want to double check what docs we’ll need with us? Thanks

Answer summary

To obtain a 30-day extension on your tourist visa (TV) at Krabi immigration, you will need to bring the following documents: a copy of your passport's data page, your entry stamp, the TM6 departure card, a recent photo, and fill out the TM7 form. Additionally, be prepared to pay a fee of 1,900 baht.

thanks you.

Is electronic copy of passport page acceptable?

What is a TM6 departure card?

Do we all need a visa photo?

Assume TM7 is the form they give you?

Sorry so many questions!

You’ll need your actual passport as well as the copies. The TM6 is the little white card you got on arrival. TM7 forms will be available at the office.

thank you

you’ll almost certainly have to do the 30 day extension first. Some offices may allow you but unlikely.

Asking as were thinking to try to stay longer in any event (I’m looking for a Thai niece and it’s taking longer than we hoped)

thought to ask as you seem very in the know, can we apply for a covid extension from our 60 day TV or we have to do the TV 30 day extension first? Thank you!

most offices have copy and photo places on site or nearby. I’m not familiar with the Krabi office.

Is it possible to scan and print the passports at an immigration office?!

So no need for visa photographs?

Thanks have all other docs 👍🏻
