What challenges might my partner face applying for a Thai SETV without proof of employment?
Hi.
My partner is going to apply for SETV via the UK site. Currently, she doesn’t have a full time job and has been doing some freelance work now and then. I can guarantee any financial support if needed, though we aren’t married. She has over £2K on her Revolut account and I can top it up if needed.
Has anyone in a similar situation (no proof of employment) applied for a SETV and got a visa OR what kind of obstacles, workarounds we need to be prepared for to get her a visa? Thank you in advance 🙏

SETV does not require a certain income. Only a certain amount on entry.

Tod Daniels, Thank you very much! Our main concerns are ‘no regular income to show in a statement for the last 3 months’ and ‘no proof of employment’. Seems like we don’t need to stress too much about neither of those.

the financial requirements for a single entry tourist visa are 20K baht or the equivalent so if they have £2K that clearly exceeds the requirement.
