Good morning to all in Thailand. I am inquiring about visa requirements: is a physical therapy clinic categorized under the medical section of the visa or are specific requirements necessary for that section of the visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry discusses the categorization of a physical therapy clinic under Thai visa regulations. Responses suggest contacting the relevant embassy for specific DTV approval information, mention the necessity of a medical diagnosis from a local doctor for extended care, and recommend considering a METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) as an alternative for longer stays.

You will need a medical diagnosis for your care from a doctor and hospital in Thailand. Outlining the treatment plan and need for your care over extended time.

Otherwise get a METV multiple entry tourist visa, gives you up to 9 months Stay with planning.

What is your passport nation?

Where are you now?

Interesting. I have had treatment plans from my physio and I know he does long term for stroke patients and children with cerebral palsy. He has become a pal and lives 2 floors below me in my condo. I will mentioned this to him. Could be a business opportunity.

Contact the embassy you will apply from. Each embassy differs in their DTV approval.
