Hi everyone, here is our situation at the moment, maybe someone could help. I am french and my fiancee is polish. I have a thai visa elite, my fiancee had student visa but does not obviously has anything anymore. Is there a way we could comeback to Thailand without too much pain and effort? I hear more and more optimism lately for people who want ot comeback. We still have doubts it is that easy. I remember hearing even thai visa elite members were waiting weeks and weeks to receive their approvals. We gave up weeks ago because of this. Now it seems the situation has improved a bit?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on how to return to Thailand with a Thai Elite Visa while their Polish fiancée, who previously held a student visa, has no current visa status. They express concerns about the challenges of obtaining approval to return, although recent optimism suggests that the process may have improved. Comments from the community include suggestions of applying for a 60-day tourist visa and considering a long-term business visa for the fiancée, along with a suggestion for her to apply for the Elite Visa despite its high cost.
What do you do for a living, Ben Ji? It might be easier to get a long-term (business) visa on the grounds of work. Though I take it you are retired if you have an elite visa. In that case, you should just be patient and try to get back the normal way.
looks like $15 000 or equivalent has to be on the bank account of each person who want to have this tourist visa and so for the last pas 6 months, which is ridiculous
