TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM28/30 requirements pertain to reporting a foreigner's residence within 24 hours after arrival in Thailand. While there are no new specific requirements for marriage visa renewals, proper filing of the TM30 is crucial for obtaining extensions based on marriage. It is advised to confirm details directly with the local immigration office and file the TM30 ahead of applying for an extension.

okay, keep in mind that applying to USE the TM30 online portal and waiting for a user name/password is NOT the same as having FILED a TM30 in the required time frame (24 hours of taking up residence).
So I'd say IF you are going to apply for an extension of stay based on marriage, CALL the immigration office that you use, OR go with your wife and file a TM30 before you need to get your extension.
I know in Bangkok, no TM30, means no extension and the last thing you wanna do is get stuck in the "I need to file a TM30" line before you get back into the "I need to apply for my extension" line.

Thanks. Yes, I do know the requirements. I also know the officers have enforced this differently depending on cases so I think it is always good to add extra details. And yes, I have to registered. Hope my wife will receive access code fast ;)

TM28 or 30 has nothing to do with what kind of Visa or Extension of Stay is stamped inside your passport. These forms are needed to report a foreigner within 24 hours after arrival at an address. Not sure what you call a marriage visa but I guess you know where to go and what the requirements are to apply for a new visa or extension of stay

I don't think there's any new requirements, so to say. You have to file a TM30 24 hours after arriving at a residence.
