ORIGINAL POSTERI have been here for 3 weeks on a DTV. I tried many banks to open an account. I have slim hopes since I mostly get a denied. What bank or what is the proper step to get a Thai banking account?

So basically anyone with a British passport entry to Thailand on visa exempt entry are not permitted to open a bank account even at the Bangkok bank. Am I correct?

If it’s a DTV for soft power then there’s a slim chance. If it’s for remote work then pretty much no chance unless you use an agent.
