Hi guys - anyone with any experience of getting an Educational visa to study Muay Thai (in Bangkok)??

Answer summary

Individuals looking to obtain an Educational visa (ED Visa) to study Muay Thai in Bangkok should directly contact specific training schools. Historical information indicates that there were at least three schools capable of providing the necessary paperwork for applying for a 90-day ED Visa from a Thai consulate abroad. However, the current ability of these schools to issue in-country ED Visas to those on amnesty status is uncertain. Recommended schools include Master Toddy's Authentic Muay Thai, Chakrit Muay Thai, and Master Woody Luktupfah.

There used to be 3 schools in Bangkok that could get you paperwork to go to a thai consulate in another country and apply for a 90 day ED Visa.

NOW whether any of those schools can offer in country ED visas to people here on amnesty is something totally different.

Contact the schools directly

They are;

Master Toddy's Authentic Muay Thai

Chakrit Muay Thai, Sukhumvit soi 39

Master Woody Luktupfah On Nut
