TLDR : Answer Summary
A Myanmar citizen recently obtained their DTV visa in Ho Chi Minh City, completing the application process through Issa Compass in 10 days (including a public holiday). They shared their timeline, noting that they submitted the application on August 4, received a request for additional documents on August 6, and received approval on August 14. The conversation included helpful tips about printing the visa, details on required documents, and congratulatory messages from other users who had positive experiences using the same agent.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight βοΈ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
for me, they asked for 1) proof of source of income and 2) a photo of every passport page with a device showing current date and time (could be to check whether I am still in Vietnam).
Anonymous participant 645 for further docs, they asked for every page of my passport. You can get another device like a phone or laptop (I used my iPad) which is showing current date and time and take a photo of every page of your passport beside that device.
