TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements to extend a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) beyond 180 days vary by location, with specific guidelines published for different offices, particularly in Bangkok. Key suggestions include either seeking an extension through the immigration office—where you may need to provide all documentation from your original application—or opting for a 'border bounce' where you exit and return to Thailand to reset your visa. The documentation requirements differ based on the purpose of the DTV, such as Workcation, Soft Power, or Dependents, and should be clarified with the immigration office.

Do yourself a BIG FAVOR and leave Thailand and return by flight ✈️ to get the 180 day extension.

Have with you a printed copy of the DTV visa you received by email from the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you applied.

Where are you living in Thailand?

For what purpose did you get the DTV visa?

Workcation or soft power activity?

Every office is difference as the all have an unique address.

So what is your point, telling that somebody gives wrong information is nice,

I scrolled twice in this topic to find your advice, but It seems you are still to busy to find the information you are going to share

@Robert ******
my advice is to visit the local immigration office and ask them.

My advice to you is to enroll in an English class and get an education visa, because clearly you can’t understand the conversations

Thank, can you be my teacher please, but why do I need to change visa, i can enroll in any course with my legal stay?

BTW, tell the admin to close this page as giving advice is not allowed according your standards.

Basically you are required to supply everything you did on your original application, so not many people bother. Just do a border bounce

Better to do a weekend trip. Less hassle

It’ll vary depending on the office but here are the requirements as published for extending in Bangkok.
