Have a Question. i will be visiting Thailand, falling under that "no visa required if staying less than 30 days" but as I understand it, the hotel we are staying at is required to fulfill the T30 requirements. Do I need to satisfy any requirements?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When visiting Thailand for less than 30 days under the no visa requirement, the hotel you stay at will handle the TM30 registration for you, needing only copies of your passport. You do not need to fulfill any additional requirements yourself.

nope, if you're staying in a hotel they file the TM30 for you with just copies of your passport.

You'll be fine.
